8 Unique and Affordable Wedding Bands - Patrick Adair Designs
Planning a wedding can be both stressful and incredibly pricey. Purchasing a wedding ring is often one of the steepest expenses on the to-do list. But these days, more couples are going with cost-effective selections for their big day, opting for DIY decorations over expensive decor and choosing affordable wedding rings instead of brand-name rings.
Find The Perfect Wedding Band Within Your Budget
Are you cash-strapped for a wedding ring? Before purchasing one, here are a few things you should do:
- Set a budget: It is important to set a budget for your wedding ring. Every one's budget will be different based on many things including income, expenses, etc. Nevertheless, it is important to set a budget for yourself. Figure out what you can afford based on your finances but don't feel the need to spend as much as you can on your wedding ring.
- Search for special offers: Part of finding an affordable wedding ring is to shop for deals. Many retailers/jewelers will offer discounts on their products and most of the time, it's as simple as asking for a discount or doing a quick search to find a discount. Sign up for the Patrick Adair Designs Email Newsletter to get a discount code for your wedding ring.
- Compare prices: The wedding ring industry nowadays is cluttered and there are so many retailers. Doing a price comparison on similar products is important. But don't forget to factor in other things like quality, warranty, and other costs such as shipping, sales tax, etc.
The good news is you don’t have to sacrifice on quality to find the perfect ring that symbolizes your love for each other. A typical jeweler will offer wedding bands in traditional materials such as gold and diamonds, however you shouldn't feel pressured to go all out on your wedding ring by purchasing a gold or diamond ring. There are plenty of wedding ring styles that won’t break the bank, even affordable engagement rings that include real diamonds, if that’s your rock of choice. But while diamonds may be forever, they aren’t the only stone that will bring a joyful shimmer to your eyes. The right wedding band will speak volumes to you when you see it.
While Patrick Adair Designs does offer luxury wedding rings in rose gold, white gold, yellow gold, and exotic gemstones, we offer variety of rings in different styles and materials that are unique and come at an affordable price tag. What really separates us from other jewelers is our unique handmade process which is documented step for step on our YouTube Channel. It's one thing to know that your lifelong wedding band is handmade with thought and integrity, but how many people can say they know exactly how their wedding ring is made? Below are some of our favorite affordable rings with accompanying videos on how they are made.
Star Dust Ring ($345)
The Star Dust Ring is one of our most popular men's wedding band choices due to the fact that it has a little bit of everything at an affordable price tag. Can't decide between a ring with exotic gemstones or a simple diamond wedding band? With our Star Dust Ring, you get the best of both worlds with a stunning combination of crushed diamonds, moonstone, real meteorite shavings, and blue opal. The end result of this combination is meant to look like a ring crafted from the debris of a massive comsic explosion. All of the materials sourced for this ring are genuine and of high-quality. To top it off, the ring glows a bright aqua at night. This is all housed in a shiny white Cobalt Chrome blank. Cobalt Chrome has a color similar to platinum but is more affordable, durable, and scratch-resistant.
If the Star Dust ring is calling to you, talk it over with your significant other and maybe they would be interested in getting a matching wedding set in tungsten! Our Star Dust Wedding Ring Set comes with a matching men's and women's band but are housed in an even more durable Tungsten-Carbide metal base that can surely handle every day wear and tear.
Sterling Silver Ring ($105)
Sterling Silver is one of the more common metals used in jewelry due to its lifetime of durability, versatility, and beautiful glossy finish. Sterling Silver jewelry comes in a variety of forms and fashion, and the Sterling Silver Ring is Patrick Adair Design's simplest take on it. This sleek and simple design makes for a perfect wedding ring for any minimalist.
Our Sterling Silver Ring is unique in that it is handmade from excess silver scraps without the aid of high-tech machinery.
904L Stainless Steel Ring ($400)
Stainless steel is a popular metal choice for couples due to it being far less expensive than other precious metals while having similar durability and strength. While most stainless steel used in jewelry is 316L, our choice of alloy is 904L. 904L steel is a superalloy composed of chromium, molybdenum, nickel and copper. These metals combine to make 904L steel more rust and corrosion-resistant than other steels. The copper specifically makes it acid resistant as well. This alloy will never tarnish and provides a much higher polish than other metals can. All of these properties make it a popular material for high-end jewelry such as Rolex watches. 904L is used in high-end jewelry such as Rolex watches
Diamond Resin Ring ($300)
Our Diamond Resin Ring is made by filling a custom mold with cubic zirconia diamonds instead of real diamonds in order to keep the low price tag. These diamonds are cast together with a jewelry-grade resin. The end result is a ring with an array of vibrant diamonds, making for a unique take on a traditional diamond engagement ring. Each ring will have a unique composition of diamonds, making every ring one-of-a-kind.
Obsidian Carbon Fiber Ring ($92.50)
Our Carbon Fiber Rings are made from Aerospace Grade Carbon Fiber. It is extremely durable and easy to care for. The Obsidian Carbon Fiber Ring is made from a twill-weave carbon fiber pattern and features a unique hand-faceted finish inspired by traditional obsidian jewelry. These hand facets are unique for each and every ring so that no two are alike.
Damascus Steel Ring ($200)
Each Damascus Steel Ring is singular due to the manufacturing process where different steels are twisted together before being acid etched. This creates a distinct pattern for each and every ring. Damascus Steel is incredibly durable and scratch resistant. The intricate wood-grain patterns make for an incredibly unique and long-lasting wedding band. This ring comes with a domed profile.
Timascus Stackable Ring ($350)
Timascus is a beautiful composite made from multiple titanium alloys twisted together. It makes for a unique and affordable wedding ring choice due to its durability and beautiful range of blues, ambers, and purples.
Superconductor Stackable Ring ($380)
Superconductor powers some of our greatest technologies from MRI machines to particle accelerators. Our superconductor rings are made from this rare material. The silver colored protrusions from the ring are the actual superconducting material and are made from an alloy of titanium-niobium. The orange parts of the ring is copper, which is designed to diffuse heat. Our Superconductor Stackable Ring is an affordable wedding ring for anyone interested in exotic materials or technology.
