Making a Yooperlite UV Glow Ring with the Waterjet Channel This tutorial picks up where I left off in the waterjet channel. If you haven’t watched the video, the link is provided below. I essentially had a piece of perlite, which is a stone that glows under a UV light. They cut out a slab that was just perfect for ring making. It was really cool and glowed under a blacklight, so making a ring out of it was really interesting.  I had plenty of design challenges. This was a rock so it was super fragile brittle. I was not...

Greetings! The Voltage Rings Kickstarter has come to an end and I am feeling extremely grateful. I did not expect the Kickstarter to get funded in less than 12 hours, let alone raise over $175,000 in sales. I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting CarbonFi, Carbon 6 Rings, and me. For the next few months we will be working very hard to get the Voltage Rings made and shipped and I can't wait to get to work. If you missed out on the Kickstarter and are still interested in supporting us, please visit and bookmark...

Making a Dinosaur Fossil Ring from Real Dinosaur Bone I made a ring out of a dinosaur fossil. The piece is really cool and has some b-roll. It's awesome and has a cell structure that you can still see. The amount of preservation the piece has had over its 150 million year lifespan is incredible. I love how you can see all those details in here. The inspiration for this ring is from my Ford Raptor. I thought there would be nothing better than a dinosaur ring to go with my dinosaur truck.  I especially think you could do this...

Making a Star Dust Glowstone Ring This article is about making a Star Dust Glowstone ring. We start with the cobalt-chromium base. It's a really high-tech material, used in jet turbines, medical implants, it's a very high-tech material. I've never offered it as a style before on my website but it's a very cool material. It holds a really good polish but it's not quite as hard and heavy as tungsten carbide. It's like a perfect medium as far as materials go. Later on in the process, we added meteorite. This is in the form of small shavings, almost like...

I wanted to make a ring out of sprinkles. I wanted to try a whole bunch of different things. So I added a little bit of glow, blue and red glow powder. I want to do it really dense. My first step was to measure out the amount of resin that I wanted to use. I used a scale to do this and this will determine the amount of catalyst that I want to use later. Then we've got our three different cups and I did three different things. The first one I'm added these circular kinds of green, purple,...
