Our glowstone rings contain an odorless, non-flammable glow powder called strontium aluminate. To get your ring to glow, expose it to a UV light source (such as the sun) to charge it and take it into the dark shortly after. There are many factors that affect the strength of the glow which are detailed on this helpful page.

Our Glowstone Rings are some of the most durable rings listed on Patrick Adair Designs. They are extremely suited for everyday wear and are waterproof. Awesome wedding ring
I love the overall look of the ring and I was surprised on how many gems were put into the ring. The only downside is the amount of gems I think takes away from the glow. The ring barely glows at all after being in the sun light compared to my star dust ring. Definitely a fair trade off however, as it is seen more during the day and the ring looks "full" because of the volume of gems. So happy with the ring.

Overall great ring.
Only a very small complaint is that the ring had one medium sized scratch in the outer layer, color disparity seems to be condensed all into one area of the ring and not evenly spread out. (A lot of the gems are in one side of the ring but hardly anywhere else.)

Love ring with request for additional blue
I liked the looks of the ring, but I wanted more blue flakes on the ring so I emailed support. I got a quick reply from them and they documented it to make it happen. I told the ring creator to use their discretion and have the blue be noticeable, but not to overwhelm the ring. They nailed it in my opinion. The glow you can see at night, but with having a darker background it is not as vivid which is what they stated would be the case. I would highly recommend this ring as well as their overall business practice. They were great to work with and shipped my order on time for Christmas like they promised. Well worth the wait!

Beautiful ring!
First I want to say service and delivery time was fantastic! I live in the UK and I requested the ring sizer first which I got two weeks later and when I confirmed the size, another two weeks later the ring arrived.
The ring itself is absolutely stunning, black opal is my favourite and the colours are so pretty. Also really like the amethyst along with the shiny meteorite shavings. I'll gradually check out the glow effect at night when it gets darker but I'm very happy with this and it fits me perfectly. Not a single issue or fault with the ring. Top quality craftsmanship and my family all love the look of it too.
